The job duties may include physically straining activities to keep and maintain the home both inside and outside. The work involves heavy chores lifting like lifting of furniture, sweeping, mopping and dusting. Conduct home interior and hazard assessment.

Sorting and organizing hoarded items, arranging for household maintenance supplies and general straightening. Heavy household activities like washing floors, bath tubs, windows, walls, and cleaning of carpets. Help with planning and organizing household tasks. Perform other essential activities to help client function independently within the client’s home environment.

There may be other out-door activities that are also integral to the client’s care plan like lawn mowing, raking of leaves, and cleaning the gutters, arranging for garbage dumpster drop off and removal and much more.
