Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistant that have compassion to become a part of our team of ELITE’s Care Providers! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient’s home or in a care facility. Must have at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, be able to pass a background check & drug test, have a checking account, and be eligible to work in the US. You are more than a contractor; you are a valuable and essential member of our award-winning family contributing to the best care for our patients and the success and growth.

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status
• Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
• Provide specialized healthcare such assisting in administering medication and changing bandages
• Teach family members ways to care for patient
• Provide clinical documentation of visits

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications:

• Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Professionalism and outstanding references
• English a MUST

All caregivers must be compassionate, dedicated, experienced and have the following:

• · Valid Florida Driver’s License
• · Reliable Car and Car Insurance
• · Physical (done within 6 months prior to registration) stating “free of communicable diseases”
• · Level 2 Background Screening (Live Scan Fingerprinting)
• · Proof of Citizenship or legal status
• · Social Security Card
• · HHA Certificate/CNA License
• · Valid CPR card from American Heart Association-Red Cross or Health & Safety Institute
• · 4 CEUs: HIV, OSHA, Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication and Medical Errors
• · Professional Liability Insurance
• · Palm Beach County License (HHA’s in Palm Beach County only)
• · At least 2-3 years of work experience in home care required
• Speaks, reads and writes clear English
• Lifting is a Plus!
